Why not take advantage of being in Cleveland for the Rail 'n Trail and Road Route Ramble? Arrive early, stay the entire weekend and enjoy a fun filled mini-vacation in and around the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley and Greater Cleveland area. National Geographic Traveler calls the Valley "a unique National Park" and recommends it as a trip destination in their Jan/Feb 2005 Issue. It is the third most visited National Park. There are several other park systems that connect with Cuyahoga such as the Cleveland Metroparks and "Metro Parks, Serving Summit County"
Hike on your own throughout the area's various park systems, or explore Cleveland's attractions such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Great Lakes Science Center and Omnimax Theater, The Cleveland or Akron Zoo not to mention the area's many historic buildings and museums. The nearby Cleveland Metro Park system offers extensive trails and other facilities along the Cuyahoga River. Their section of the Towpath combines massive industrial activity with bucolic scenery and wildlife. It is truly a unique environment.
The National Park includes:
Hale Farm, a reconstructed village of restored buildings from the 1800's
Stan Hywet Hall, the baronial home of the founder of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber company
Canal related museums and historical sites.

So, whether you spend a day or the entire weekend, you will never forget your visit to the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Greater Cleveland area.
